Dear Parent

Vincent de Paul Food Hampers

Dear Parent

Our local Vincent de Paul are organising Christmas food hampers and are hoping each family could donate one food item towards this. If you are in a position to help, we will accept donations in the school until Thursday, 22nd November.

Possible suggestions include (in date) tinned food, tea, coffee, pasta, spaghetti, rice, flour, jam, jelly, cereals, biscuits, crisps etc.

Many thanks in advance,

Yours sincerely,

John Devenney.

Science Week

It’s been a busy week with Science Week in the school.  All pupils took part in some twenty science experiments in the School Hall, expertly organised by Fifth and Sixth classes.

I wish to congratulate all our athletes who participated in the Donegal cross-country championship in Buncrana recently. We had a most successful outing, particularly our U-11 and U-13 girls who captured team gold medals in the Large Schools Category.

Finally, to conclude with some old chestnuts; with dark, cold and wet mornings a feature of Winter, I wish to re-iterate that children should not be left to school before morning opening times, and I request that no cars use the staff/bus car-park in the mornings and at 2 and 3pm pick-up times.

Yours sincerely,

John Devenney.
