Debating Team qualifies for County Final

Congratulations to our school debating team who have eloquently argued their way into the County Donegal Primary School Final.  Eighteen schools entered the competition but has now been whittled down to two teams.

The sixth class team are eagerly looking forward to meeting St Aengus’ NS, Bridgend in the final later in the term.

Operation Transformation 10 @ 10

Operation Transformation 10 @ 10

To celebrate ten years of Operation Transformation, Karl Henry wants every primary school in Ireland to get moving for 10 minutes of exercise at 10am this morning, February 10th.

“These campaigns will help to make exercise fun for primary schools and help give the benefits of health to those who take part.”

Top 3 Fitness Tips:

  1. Fitness should be fun.
  2. Fitness should be exertive.
  3. Fitness should be part of your day.

Credit Union Quiz Success

Congratulations to all the teams who represented Kilmacrennan NS in the Credit Union Quiz in the Mt Errigal Hotel recently.  There were over 70 participating teams.

Kilmacrennan Ns won the U-13 Senior section and will now represent Letterkenny Credit Union in the Donegal, Derry and Tyrone Chapter Final, due to be held in March.  We wish Eoghain, Ronan, Eílis and Thomas well in the event.

We also had a great performance in the U-11 event, with Jack, John James, Lauren and Eva finishing in a splendid second place.  Comhghairdeas libh.
